It all started with the most incredible devotional called, ‘Jesus Calling’. if you have not read this book you got to get it. It’s a MUST READ. I was at a place in my life where I had hit rock bottom. It’s the first time I had stepped foot behind bars. I was working at the newspaper and working my way up with this company that gave me a chance as handling billing and learning the ropes and it was a good start for me as I had computer classes at night and just got out of high school. I met a man that swept me off my feet and turned my life completely around. He went to prison on a drug charge and I should have knew then it was a sign but I am a believer in giving everybody a chance and we all make mistakes but we see it and blow it off. I was partying on weekends at clubs in Buck head and Downtown Atlanta, Ga. Alcohol became my go too drug. I had always isolated my self as a child and always did what I was told up until then. I went to jail about three times for under age drinking then it was probation violation. So, I remember one time my grandmother did not come bond me out and they wanted to send me to a diversion center and it blew my mind. My family was telling her to not come rescue me. My brother was a well known business owner in the area and i just knew he would pay them off and I would come home. WRONG!!!!
